Boston – The campaign of Mike Lake, Democratic candidate for Lieutenant Governor for Massachusetts, earned a major endorsement Thursday from State Rep. Ken Gordon (D-Bedford).
“Mike Lake has impressed me from early on as the hardest working candidate in this race. He is committed to the issues that affect the residents of Burlington, Bedford and Wilmington. He is prepared to handle the challenges that will confront him with intelligence, tenacity, and a wonderful sense of value.”
Citing Gordon’s record on labor, the environment and climate change, Lake said that he was proud to have Gordon’s support.
“I am proud to have the support of State Rep. Ken Gordon,” Lake said. “Ken is an excellent public servant who is thoroughly knowledgeable about climate change, the environment and labor. He is a true public leader and I look forward to working with him.”
A former Clinton appointee, Lake launched his campaign for Lieutenant Governor in March 2013. He is the President and CEO of Leading Cities and has amassed support from activists, business leaders, labor unions and government leaders, including former Governor Michael Dukakis.
